Obscurity

Here, we take a page of a sixth-century copy of Dioscorides' De Materia Medica depicting a thorny plant, and accompanied by what I assume is readable Greek text¹, plug it into some chained block cipher algorithm in order to get an encrypted and therefore unreadable and inaccessible output², and the output here is a page from the Voynich Manuscript, which has so far proven to be totally unreadable.
